Guide #1 Setting Up Your Ad Manager Account and Displaying Ads

Integration with ad Exchange makes it easier for buyers to access your site's inventory (Available Spaces on Your Site).

  1. Verify that your site is ready to serve ads:

    • Go to the «Inventory«.
    • Click on “Sites” within the “Inventory«.
    • If you haven't added your site yet, click "New Site" to add it.
    • If your sites are not marked as "Ready", wait until they are, which may take up to 24 hours.

  2. Deactivate AdSense for the sale of remaining inventory:

    • Go to the «Inventory«.
    • Scroll down and click «Network Configuration«.
    • Uncheck the option «Maximize revenue from unsold inventory with AdSense«.
    • Save the changes.
  3. Activate Ad Exchange:

    • Go to the section «Administrator» in the left menu and select «Managing multiple clients«.
    • Click on the «ad Exchange«.
    • Read and accept the Ad Exchange terms and conditions.
    • Verify that your sites are active and ready to show ads. If you already verified this at the beginning of the tutorial, simply accept. If not, verify this now.
      • Select the option «I entered my sites and they were approved for advertising.«.
      • Click on «Continue«.
    • Finally, activate Ad Exchange by clicking on «Activate Ad Exchange«.
